Real Madrid will announce the €100m signing of Eden Hazard after the Europa League final

Eden Hazard's seven season stint with Chelsea is coming to an end

Eden Hazard's future has been a talking point for a while now.

The Belgian winger, who had his best season yet in a Chelsea shirt, has been heavily linked with Real Madrid for the past few months.

Hazard teased Chelsea fans a few days back during Chelsea's end of season ceremony when he hinted he would sign a new contract.

However, after Chelsea finished their Premier League campaign on Sunday, Hazard stated that his decision on his future has been made.

"I have made my decision but it is not just about me," Hazard said, per the Daily Mail. "I told the club a couple of weeks ago.

"I wanted it to be cleared up earlier but that's not happened. I'm still waiting, like the fans are waiting.

"We have a final to play and then I will see. It has never been a distraction. When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That's it.

"When I am on the pitch I just try to do the best. I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club's situation. I just try to win games."

Eden Hazard accumulated the most assists in the Premier League this season

And now, a day after those comments, there have been reports that a deal between Real Madrid and Chelsea has been agreed.

L'Equipe report that an agreement between the two clubs over the transfer of Hazard was made a few weeks ago, with the price set at around €100m.

Hazard has also agreed terms with Real Madrid.

And the French publication report the deal will officially be announced after the Europa League final between Chelsea and Arsenal on May 29.

Zinedine Zidane has wasted no time adding to his squad

It seems it's the end of an era for Chelsea and Hazard.

The Belgian forward has been sensational for the Blues, scoring 108 goals in 351 games.

He will be hoping to bow out at Chelsea by helping them to the Europa League trophy later this month.
