Vincent Kompany said 'ouch' to Troy Deeney after Man City's fourth goal v Watford

Vincent Company won his second FA Cup with City

Manchester City are the kings of English football.

The Citizens became the first men's side in the history of the sport in this country to win the domestic treble today.

And boy did they do it in style.

City beat Watford 6-0 at Wembley and they weren't even at their fearsome best.

But what they did was maintained their patience, worked hard with and without the ball and were then clinical in front of goal.

Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick, with Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva grabbing the other goals.

De Bruyne was brought on with 35 minutes to go and still managed to win the man-of-the-match.

His passing when he came on was outrageously good and you almost felt sorry for Watford as the fourth, fifth and sixth goals went in.

De Bruyne was unplayable when he came on

Even City captain Vincent Kompany appreciated the thrashing his side were handing out.

The Belgian was spotted on camera looking awkwardly towards Watford's Troy Deeney and saying 'ouch' after Jesus scored the fourth goal.

Ouch indeed, Vincent.

After well and truly conquering the English game and producing some of the most scintillating football ever seen on the island, Guardiola's focus will now be success in Europe.

With City's amazing squad - which will be bolstered with more top talent in the summer - they need to win the Champions League sooner rather than later.

Guardiola now needs to win the Champions League with City

While the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all possess masses of world-class players, City's squad is easily the best in Europe.

The fact De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane were all sat on the bench today - with Fernandinho not even in the squad - shows just how strong they are.

Can they go one step further and win the quadruple in 2019/20?
